Chevelle- simply a rock band
September 14th, 2009 -- Posted in Artist Bios | No Comments »Though Chevelle’s music has been labeled as christian by some,but we look at the band and their music as a whole. The purpose of this band is not to bring glory to God, and their lyrics are not written with christian based themes. They have toured with very ungodly bands such as ozzfest, so their associations show that they are interested in staying in the secular heavy rock band genera. Some of there music can be labeled christian listener friendly but we will not support this band due to its lack of a firm stand for Christ on stage. The band members claim that their faith is important to them, so we will not say that they are not Christians. Some of there music contains somewhat of hidden references to spiritual things.
